The Investment Promotion Agency hosted a meeting with a delegation from Argentina

A delegation from Argentina, headed by Mr. Juan Carlos Pignataro, Head of the Political Department of the Embassy of the Argentine Republic in the Russian Federation, visited the Investment Promotion Agency of the Samara Region. The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Development Corporation of the Samara Region.

Deputy Executive Director of IPA Ivan Afanasiev welcomed the participants of the meeting: "We are glad to meet partners from abroad. The Samara Region today has all the tools for implementation of almost any production. And that’s what we'll tell you about. We hope for fruitful cooperation."

During the meeting, Head of the Investment Attraction Department Mikhail Nesterenko presented the investment potential of the Samara Region. Today the region shows one of the best dynamics in the country in terms of investment attractiveness growth. This is evidenced by the change of positions of the Samara Region in credit ratings - Standard & Poor 's: BB/Stable; Moody's: Positive Ba2/; Analytical credit rating agency (AKRA): "AA (RU)"/Stable. In the rating of investment attractiveness of the Agency of Strategic Initiatives Samara Region rose by 24 positions during the year, by 9 points the region improved indicators in the direction of innovative development.

Colleagues from the Development Corporation of the Samara Region presented the investment projects that could potentially interest Argentine business during the meeting.

Mr. Juan Carlos Pignataro noted that the meeting was productive. Potential areas of cooperation, composition and quality of investment projects available in the region are of high interest to entrepreneurs from Argentina.

Representatives of IPA, Development Corporation and Argentina agreed that they will continue to exchange relevant information useful for entrepreneurs of both countries.
