The Samara region and Republic of Belarus develop bilateral cooperation
These days the delegation of the Samara region is on a visit in Republic of Belarus. On Monday, May 22, in Minsk the workshop meeting on questions of bilateral cooperation development of between Republic of Belarus and the Samara region took place.
It passed under the chairmanship of the deputy prime minister of Republic of Belarus Mikhail Rusy and the vice governor - the plenipotentiary governor of the Samara region at the Russian President and the Government of the Russian Federation Igor Eremin.
Representatives of authorities, medical, educational institutions and business community of the Samara region participated in the meeting.
The perspective directions of cooperation in such branches as the industry, medicine, agricultural industry and education were discussed at the meeting.
The parties plan to develop production cooperation, discuss a possibility of investment projects implementation, including the agrarian and industrial complex sphere, share experiences concerning questions of labor market regulation. Besides, joint scientific, educational and cultural actions by the scientific organizations and institutions of education is planned.
Special attention at the workshop meeting was paid to development of cooperation in the medical sphere, in particular, to questions of rendering hi-tech medical care and expansion of medical tourism between the Samara region and Republic of Belarus.
At the end of the meeting the parties noted the growth of commodity turnover and agreed to develop and sign the new plan of joint actions in which the urgent and perspective directions of interaction will be reflected until the end of 2017.
Let us recall that between the Samara region and Republic of Belarus the Agreement on trade and economic, scientific and technical and cultural cooperation signed in 2005 works at the present time.
On Tuesday, May 23, the Samara region participates in the XX International exhibition TekhInnoProm-2017 with the communal stand.
