The Day of the Investor in Samara Region took place yesterday, in Renaissanse Hotel. The goal of the project is to promote the attraction of foreign investment and the Region's positive image.
The main event of the Day was the meeting of the Foreign Investments Promotion Board under Samara Region Government. The participants were the Vice-Governor - First Deputy of Samara Region Government Chairman - A. Nefedov, Deputy Government Chairman - The Minister of Economic Development, Investment and Trade - G. Khasayev and the Board's members. The meeting's invitees were managers of the leading Samara Companies, that deal with foreign investments and are intrested in development in foreign economic ties, as well as foreign partners.
Within the meeting, www.investinsamara.ru internet site, aimed to attract foreign investors was presented; protocols of intent were signed with the Japanese Business Club and Medef Aub company, regarding the Business Bridge Project.
The attendees were largely impressed with the „Development of Foreign Economic TIes with Asian Countries“ study group. The group's participants were the Versivo Association, Ikeda Masakhiro - the Head of ROTOVO Moscow Representative office - the executive secretary of the Japanese Business Club and A. Berlin - Doctor of Economics, Professor of Moscow State University Economics Faculty.
